Fire
Blazer
Bancroft Elliston,
born February 1983, in the parish of St. Catherine,
in a small community of Macca Tree,
Fire Blazer is the moniker under which
he performs. Fire Blazer dedicated himself to pursue
a musical career at the age of fourteen.
Encourage by his friends and family (especially
his father), he took his talents to the streets, singing
on stage shows, and sound systems. After two years
developing his songwriting and DJ skills, and garnering
respect form a number of sound systems and promoters,
he sought Sean "Amazon" Woodhouse
as his mentor to further his talents.
Fire Blazer paid his dues, and proved to Woodhouse
that he was ready to take his career to the next level.
In 2005, Fire Blazer recorded his first song, 'Black
People Come Now' and
'World Order', and got his first release
with 'Jah Children Strive',
which was very successful, and released, on the Miss
Cassie compilation album.
In 2006, Woodhouse signed Fire Blazer to his Amazon-Bluenile
label, and recorded 'Jah
Guide Mi', and 'Ghetto
Youths', which will be released on the
Amazon Rebel compilation May 30, 2007.
Fire Blazer wants his music to be viewed as prayers
and live on forever, and plans to continue to write
and perform outlasting, and ever -living music.
