Money God
On A Musical Zenith

Sheldon Andrews also known as ‘Money God’ has packed his bags
and has set out on a musical zenith. Hailing from Bush Mouth, Waterhouse ‘Money
God’ is destined for greatness. When asked how he got his name, he
told the STAR, “when mi a little youth, people use to always ask mi
fi money, all elders, even though dem kno mi nuh have none dem ask mi… so
mi say a me a di money god”.
He realized his passion for music at a tender age of 13. He added, “When
mi little mi use to hang out a King Jammys’ with Bounty Killer, Angel
Dulas, Shabba, Toddler, Josey Wales, Admiral Bailey every artistes up to
now…”
Currently Money God has a number of songs being played on popular radio
stations such as Irie FM, Radio 2 and Roots FM. A few of these are – The
Pro (Shocking Vibes Label), Bad Mind (CJ Label), Straight Forward (Free Willy
Label) and Delvadere (House of Fire Label).
Although young, he has performed on some huge stage show with top headliners.
Such show includes Summer Sizzle, Direct Connect, Bling Dawg Summer Jam,
The Crowning of Ward 21 and many other local shows.
Describing his unique style of singing, he to the STAR, “Me straight
deejay, hardcore. Mi dey pon di cultural side and the flossy side, every
side of the music, the ladies dem and the real thuggy thuggy, motherless,
fatherless, mi haffi dey dey fi dem.”
Being inspired by two of his favorite artistes, ‘Money God’ told
the STAR, “Shabba and Beenie Man inspire me still, base on where
they’re coming from, dem man dey was sufferer and look at where they
are now – Sweet dreams are made of this, who am I to disagree.”
With his mind right and his eyes set on the prize, he sees himself having
a prospective career. He added, “Musically, I see myself having no
bounds, mi a step to zenith – the highest of everything.” Also
with his music he plans to bring people together. He added “me want
bring people together, mi want build some training centre so the youths
can learn a trade. Give back something to the community so the youths can
have something.”
