Festival 2003 - Special Events and Activities

Lots of thanks and praises...we're all of 41 this year. As usual, Jamaica celebrates the anniversary of its birth with a "whole heap" of activities. It's festival time again!

Mello-go-roun' is an integral part of the independence celebrations
The programme of activities will include traditional festival events such as Mello-Go-Roun', Festival Train, the Float Parade and a day dedicated to our cultural icon, Louise Bennett Coverly, as well as the reintroduction of events such as the Marching Band Competition. Be sure to look at the schedule of activities below (developed by the JCDC) and ensure you attend whichever ones you can!
