Introducing Tina Nunezz: The New Sound
(Dec-23-2008)
Songwriter and artiste, Tina Nunezz has been in studio recording diligently and extensively for the past few months. For 2008 she has reaped some benefits with tracks in good rotation locally and internationally. Now she's promoting songs and doing the groundwork for an even better year in 2009.
Listeners have been hearing this new sound and flavour. Already on the playlists of radio stations for months now are tracks such as Like This – a collaboration with dancehall veteran Mad Cobra – done on the Sandfly Riddim and produced by Craig 'Leftside' Parkes, as well as a collaboration with Gyptian entitled Weak In The Knees, produced by Flava's No Doubt Records. Her 2007 track Bad Boy with Buju Banton has continued to receive steady airplay on UK radio stations. A few of her newer songs have also been added to playlists in the UK, Holland and Japan.
The talented female singer is currently promoting the singles Right Here and Rush. Right Here was produced by Young Veterans – the same producers responsible for Rasta Imposter by Konshens. The moderately up-tempo one-drop track Rush was produced by UIM Productions – producers of the popular dancehall song Dagga Dat by Bragga Dat.
