FIJI ARE in for a stormy encounter against fourth ranked Jamaica who will be looking to rebound from Wednesday's loss to Australia with a big win today. The two teams are down to contest one of four quarter-final matches at 6:15 p.m. and the Sunshine Girls are favoured to shine through. "We know they are favourites to win the match but we have a game to play and we are going to play it. The atmosphere is going to be fantastic but we'll be taking everything in stride and use it as a learning experience in our development programme," said Margaret Corbett, coach of the Pacific side.

Corbett concedes that it will be difficult for her team to win but they have goals to achieve. "Yes, it is going to be difficult but we are on track for our goals. Hopefully we will give them a great game but we have to be realistic about the seedings and from this we will be able to gauge our performance for the next game," she said.

Fiji placed sixth after the last World Championship has four players from the 1999 line-up in its current selection. They are wingers Seforosa Munivai and Bernadette Ramafono, centre Unaisa Rokoura and shooter Adi Vasiti Baukinalagi Vocea.

Jamaica's coach Maureen Hall is confident of a good result. "I'm pretty confident that we will win. Not that we are expected to get it on a platter but I think the aim to reach the semi-finals is what will push us to get the desired result," she said.

Jamaica's team from: Oberon Pitterson (captain), Elaine Davis (vice-captain), Connie Francis, Georgia Gordon, Nadine Bryan, Kasey Evering, Nichala Gibson, Simone Forbes, Althea Byfield, Sharon Wiles, Carla Williams and Tiffannie Wolfe.

Fiji's team from: Seforosa Munivai, Bernadette Ramafono, Unaisa Rokoura, Adi Vasiti Baukinalagi Vocea, Majorie Parr, Bulou Ligamada Rabuka, Mere Rabuka, Taraima Ina Edna Rara, Anasimeci Ratumaisala, Matelita Shaw, Seruwaia Vonolagi and Matila Waq Anidrola.
