NCU Steel Pan performing at Feast of Lights NCU concert Choir
Northern Caribbean University Music Department will be hosting its annual event Feast of Lights in collaboration with the New England Youth Ensemble.
This concert is scheduled for Saturday, December 4 starting at 8:00 pm. The music programme will feature young talents from the NCU concert choir, New England Youth Ensemble, NCU Inspirational Choir, Shahaye, Kingdom Praise, Victor Dixon High School, West Indies College Preparatory School Choir, NCU Steel Pan and Edison Valencia.
According to the Event Director, Dr. Eurydice Osterman Feast of Lights is a Christmas gift to the Community as it is a Christmas programme.
The event is supported by music lovers as they delight in a wide range of classical pieces. This year’s event, performances will feature excerpts from the Messiah.
This is a music event that has turned into a tradition for the Northern Caribbean University.T his event was first staged at Northern Caribbean University in 1969 and has been going on for over 30 years.
