Guts River is not in Northern Clarendon but it is a place that Clarendon College students like to visit to chill out and have fun. It is really located on the border of St Elizabeth and Manchester. What you would refer to as South Jamaica on the way to Little Ochi via Aligator Hole where the large manatees hang out.
The present owners of the site are Mr Baychan other wise known as Errol and Mr Nazy, but when they are not around two other person take care of it for them. These men are known as Blacks and Short man.
Guts River is one of the most common rivers in Jamaica. It is a river compact to a Sea. The river flows from under the rock into the sea. One special thing about Guts River is that it is a mineral bath and on holiday they always keep parties and dance down there.
Guts river has a special hole called Blue hole. It is approximately 35 feet down. Guts River has lots of divers but three of them are the most famous Ė they are known as Sheldon, Keneil and Andrew. When going down, it seem easy, but the hard part of it is when coming up. Gutís river has a special part of it that you can swim and go under a rock, it seem blue, but as you keep going you would find your self under a large rock.
Down gutís river people usually bet money to go for bottle down in the water, swimming at Guts River is very fine and one can enjoy the sunrise and the sunset. Gutís river has a large space for parking and lovable people that you can get alone well with. Its one of the lovliest parts of Clarendon to come to whenever you want to relax.
