Wildsides - RTI 2007

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville was transformed on Sunday, August 5 as Alaska Entertainment hosted perennial party crowd favourite, Wildsides as part of Red Stripe Temptation Isle weekend.

‘Ville’, one of the smaller venues, was packed beyond its capacity, forcing patrons to use bar tops as dance floors. This however did not deter party goers from showing their wild sides.

Zip 103 ZJ, Nikki Z made her presence felt as host, as she took control of the evening’s line ups, introducing artistes such as Busy Signal and Tony Matterhorn who ‘tore up’ the stage. Additionally she gave a special ‘big up’ to Negril party local, Reneto Adams.

The foam pit which was positioned in front of the stage, was another main attraction for those who had the opportunity to get passed the crowd and make use of it. For others the sensational musical selections brought on by Renaissance and ZJ Liquid of ZIP 103 among others held their vivacious vibe.

Although the bar was empty before nightfall, Wildsides was still all it was expected to be and more. Unfortunately the party had to end some time and it was back into the congested streets which was also a result of the turnout at the event.
